"Air Cell" is created by dividing a volume into a grid pattern, and using dots of glue from a glue gun to replace all the points where the grid lines intersect. The collection of dots arranged in an orderly fashion at an equal pitch both vertically and horizontally gives the impression of a large number of undifferentiated cells being cultured in white light. The way that the internal dimensions shift in succession to match the viewer's point of view quietly stimulates the senses of sight and touch, creating a visual experience that is totally different to that of looking at a solid sculpture.

"Catalyst" is a net-like drawing or ultra-thin sculpture drawn directly onto the gallery wall using a glue gun. Imagine a creeper plant with no sense of sight extending its feelers so that they snake endlessly along the edge of the museum space in search of "something" that the plant wants. This is a work that comprehensively aligns materiality, images, and the artist's own physical senses.
*Glue gun=A glue applicator that works by electrically melting sticks of ethylene vinyl acetate glue (hot melt glue).
