"Dot painting" images are formed from dots drawn by dropping ink in a grid pattern onto non-absorbent paper. Each drop is pulled into shape by surface tension, and inside the drop, the ink pigment migrates, changing its position. Over the course of a full day, the ink slowly dries, from the outside inwards. The result resembles a trace of a cell's activity. The way that the alternating ordered lines and randomness come together depicts the situation of our bodies, immersed each day in vast amounts of information as our thoughts and sensibilities oscillate between digital and analog.
